(Updated) Support for Internet Explorer Ending Soon
UPDATE: Service extended to October 2020. Red River Credit Union will stop supporting Internet Explorer in April of this year. There are a number of reasons for this change, but the biggest one is security. Microsoft, the maker of Internet Explorer, stopped updating the browser over 3 years ago, meaning it’s no longer meeting modern standards for security or user experience. We take security very seriously, so we’re ending our support for this aging browser. This means that any of our account holders still using Internet Explorer will need to switch to a new browser in the weeks ahead.
This is not a decision we’ve made lightly, but it’s the right one. Industry experts—and even Microsoft’s own security team—recommend that most users discontinue use of Internet Explorer.
Soon, Internet Explorer users will begin to see notifications as they log in to online banking. The good news is that change, in this case, is simple. Modern, secure browsers like Google Chrome are free and easy to download; and you may even have another on your computer already. Simply use one of these browsers to log in to online banking. It’s that easy. It’s also safer and faster, and you’ll notice a better user experience.

Always be Suspicious of Fraud
The RRCU 800 number was being spoofed recently. What is spoofing? Caller ID spoofing is the process of changing the caller ID to any number other than the calling number. In our case, spoofing callers would tell members their account had fraudulent charges and asked for a PIN and/or Passwords. The best way to prevent fraud is to follow our #1 Fraud Safety Rule: NEVER give out your PIN or Password for your Debit Card or Online/Mobile Banking access.
If someone contacts you in any way asking for your PIN or Password, call us at 903-735-3000. You can make a big difference in keeping your account safe.
